Yes... here in the U.S. it's a day for roses, chocolates, and hopefully lots of love for all! One of the best parts of this Valentine's Day was creating this blingy bracelet for a dear friend of mine ~ she ordered it for her dad to give to her mom today. What a precious thought and gift!
I don't often create these style of bracelets, primarily because of the sheer amount of work that goes into them, but I always adore seeing them finished. With this one I added a few dangling charms to represent the love and faith they share.

One year ago today our grandson was born ~ it wasn't an easy birth for his mom and he had a pretty tough go of it in the beginning, being in ICU for several weeks, but over the past year he's grown strong and is most certainly the highlight of this little family.
As with most grandchildren his antics can turn any dull day into a sheer delight ~ just check out that shirt as he stands in daddy's boot to the right...
He'll be bringing his mom and dad out in a few weeks so we can all celebrate several family birthdays together since he and our middle son were born just a few weeks apart.
They're shown together above and I'll be sure to post updated photos of cake, candles, and smiles after their visit.
Grandchildren truly are amazing ~ just when you think your heart couldn't possibly hold any more room, along comes a little one that manages to crawl right in and find the perfect spot among all those we love so much ~ what a blessing indeed!
For those of you who frequent my blog, you know I never post videos. It's not that I have anything against them, I genuinely love them (think graphics) but seldom have the time to watch or share. Life always has me (and you as well, I'm sure) running around from here to there.
Even if I sit in front of this monitor all day, I'm either working on any number of custom projects, work related to-dos, or school work ~ so to post a video of any sort which requires me (or you) to stop for a moment is simply unseen around here.
and yet that's what I've done...
While visiting a new blog, I found this video which so many words could describe ~ poignant, magical, wonderful, but it was the tears that silently streamed down my cheeks at the end that described it best.
Even while watching I thought, "I have to go", "I don't have time for this", "I really need to __________", but I kept watching. Perhaps because I knew I needed to ~ what was 15 minutes out of my life anyways?
